Museums or other Special Academic Buildings on Campus:Network for Earthquake Engineering Simulation (NEES) @ UNR Equipment Site is a biaxial, multiple shake table facility (with three identical biaxial shake tables) that is suitable for conducting of research on long, spatially distributed, structural and geotechnical systems; Bridge Research and Information Center was established in 1998 and is headquartered at the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR). The center is principally sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF); The Western Regional Superpave Center in the Civil Engineering Department is one of five centers established by the Federal Highway Administration to promote the implementation of superpave technology; The mission of the Transportation Technology Transfer Center (Nevada T2 Center) is to provide training and technical assistance to transportation personnel to help them build and maintain better, safer, and more cost-effective transportation facilities; Audiovisual center, Theatres, Concert Halls, State Historical Society Museum, Planetarium, Research Institutes, Agricultural Experiment Station, W.M.
