Museums or other Special Academic Buildings on Campus:La Salle University Art Museum: a collection of European and American art since the Middle Ages. In addition to paintings, the Museum has a collection of Old Master prints and drawings from the 19th and 20th centuries. Smaller collections include: illustrated rare Bibles, Japanese prints, Indian miniatures, African tribal art, pre-Columbian pottery and ancient Greek terra cotta pottery. La Salle 56 is a cable television station housed in the University's Communication Center. Students produce programming using state-of -the-art technology, which includes a television studio, a linear editing suite, three nonlinear editing suites, a dubbing room, and portable equipment.
